Huawei has kicked off a marketing campaign for the new Nova 16 smartphone series in China. A brief video teaser was released by the company, asking people to “enjoy the height of summer”. The official presentation of the gadgets is scheduled for 1 June. Huawei also immediately disclosed the design of the top tier Nova 16 Pro model in a pair of colourways.
This model develops the design concept from the previous Nova 15 generation. It offers two large camera shrouds located on a plateau in the style of an iPhone Pro. Three lenses sit in the left block while another lens is placed in the right block with an LED flash. The smartphone frame has a flat shape and appears to be made from metal based on the presence of antenna notches. We will learn more details about the Huawei Nova 16 line from teasers in the coming days.
