vivo has formally introduced the S60 series in China, bringing two models to market: the standard vivo S60 and the S60 Vitality Edition. The two share much of their hardware, though the regular S60 steps up with a more powerful processor and a dedicated 3x telephoto lens.

Each handset centers on a 6.59-inch AMOLED panel running at 2,750 by 1,260 pixels (1.5K) with a 120Hz refresh rate. vivo rates peak local brightness at up to 5,000 nits during HDR content. Both also carry a 50MP selfie camera and an ultrasonic fingerprint reader beneath the display.
Under the hood, the S60 runs Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. The Vitality Edition, meanwhile, uses MediaTek’s freshly launched Dimensity 7500 paired with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. The rear camera module on both devices echoes the look of the Xiaomi 17T family, with a squared island layout. Shared across the series are a 50MP main shooter and an 8MP ultrawide. Only the standard S60 adds a 50MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom.
Common ground continues with a 7,200mAh battery supporting 90W wired charging, plus IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings. On the software front, both launch with OriginOS 6 built atop Android 16.
Color choices for the vivo S60 and S60 Vitality Edition include Starry Sea, Early Summer Green, and Midsummer Night. Open sales in China begin June 3.
The vivo S60 Vitality Edition pricing opens at CNY 2,899 (about €366 converted) for the 8/256GB configuration and tops out at CNY 3,499 (roughly €442 converted) for the 12/512GB model.
The standard vivo S60 starts at CNY 3,599 (approximately €454 converted) for the 12/256GB variant and reaches CNY 4,399 (around €555 converted) for the 16/512GB flagship trim.
