A fresh leak indicates Samsung plans to launch its next-generation foldable range on 22 July. In the run-up to the expected event, further specifications for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 and the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Wide have emerged online.
According to the report, the Galaxy Z Fold8 will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The device is projected to weigh roughly 210 g and, when unfolded, will be just 4.1 mm thick.

The same source notes that the successor to the Galaxy Z Fold7 will retain the 200 MP primary rear sensor, while the ultrawide lens is expected to be upgraded to 50 MP. Front-facing cameras are likely to stay at 10 MP, matching earlier rumours.
Battery capacity is also said to be 5 000 mAh, confirming a March leak, and the foldable should support fast 45 W wired charging.

The Galaxy Z Fold Wide is rumoured to house a 7.6-inch inner screen with a 4:3 aspect ratio.
Its camera array is expected to comprise a dual rear system, featuring both a 50 MP primary sensor and a 50 MP ultrawide lens. Other likely specs include a 4 800 mAh battery capable of 45 W wired charging and a weight of about 200 g, aligning with recent leaks.
