Samsung is reportedly coming with its remarkable chipset Exynos in January 2021. The South Korean manufacturer announced the news via an official Twitter account. Although the chipset is not revealed, it is speculated to be Exynos 2100. The launch date of the processor is set at January-12-2021. The announcement made following a video that features “Exynos is Back” with an SoC chip. This chipset will be reportedly based on 5nm architecture. According to reports, the processor will feature 8 core configuration. The SoC chipset will equip 1 high-performance ARM X1 core clocked at 2.91 GHz, 3 Cortex-A-78s of 2.81GHz, and 4 Cortex A-55 of 2.21 GHz.
The chipset will be equipped with Mali G-78 GPU. Reportedly, Samsung’s Galaxy S21 will be launched on January 14 and it’ll come with SnapDragon’s 888 SoC and Exynos 2100. The new chipset designs are more efficient to support system optimization and enhance overall smartphone performance. Everything in the smartphone is dependent on your processor. Selecting the wrong processor makes the smartphone sluggish. SoC chipsets are designed to perform billions of calculations in the minimum possible time. The capacity to process information determines the device performance irrespective of OS or manufacturer’s device. Integrating CPU, GPU, Modem, and associated auxiliaries improve device performance by improving processing capability.
