OPPO has unveiled two new smartphone models, the OPPO Reno 16 and the OPPO Reno 16 Pro. Both devices support 2G, 3G, 4G with bands 1, 3, and 8, as well as 5G connectivity. Under the hood, the OPPO Reno 16 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8550 Super chipset built on a 4nm process. The OPPO Reno 16 Pro utilises the more advanced MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset, which is manufactured using a 3nm process. Memory configurations differ between the two models. The standard Reno 16 is available with 12GB of LPDDR5 or LPDDR5X RAM. The Pro model offers two variants, one with 16GB of LPDDR5 or LPDDR5X and another with 16GB of LPDDR5X. Storage options also vary. The standard unit provides 256GB or 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
