The tumultuous journey of Trump Mobile continues to unfold in the most problematic of ways. The company’s inaugural smartphone, widely reported to be a rebranded HTC U24 Pro device, launched in 2024, was initially set to begin shipping in August or September of the previous year. That deadline, however, came and went. Shipments are now reported to be on the horizon, but new issues have arisen.
Trump Mobile has confirmed to TechCrunch that a significant data exposure has occurred. Customer information, including names, phone numbers, home addresses, and email addresses, was left exposed on the company’s website.

The company is actively investigating the incident and has not yet uncovered any evidence of malicious activity. The exposure is believed to be linked to a third-party platform provider that supports specific Trump Mobile operations. However, the name of this provider has not been disclosed. A spokesperson for Trump Mobile, Chris Walker, provided this statement.
“We are currently evaluating whether it is necessary to notify customers about the exposure of their personal data,” Walker stated.
The company maintains that there was no breach of its network, systems, or infrastructure. This claim, however, seems contradictory, as the exposed customer data was publicly accessible on the company’s website. Walker’s statement suggests that Trump Mobile is now considering whether to inform customers about the exposure of their personal data.
