The device was said to retain a dual-periscope camera setup, with one of the cameras offering 10x optical zoom. These claims have now been corroborated by the reliable source Digital Chat Station.
According to the insider, Huawei is currently testing prototypes equipped with two 50-megapixel periscope cameras, with one of them indeed delivering 10x optical zoom. Other notable upgrades for the new model include a “significantly improved chipset”, a 6.9-inch Tandem OLED display of the latest generation, and a battery capacity increase from 6000mAh to 6800-7000mAh. However, the Mate 90 Pro Max may not top the series. It is anticipated that the Mate 90 RS, a luxury variant, will lead the lineup.
