Ulefone has unveiled a new ultra- budget smartphone, the Note 22. This device significantly trails behind other models released this year in terms of specifications. It features a 5″ IPS screen with a resolution of 854×480 pixels (FWVGA, a classic 16:9 aspect ratio), a 60Hz refresh rate, and 400 nits of brightness. The battery capacity is a modest 3000 mAh, and notably, the battery is removable.
The smartphone is powered by a UniSoC T7100 (also known as T603 or SC9863) chipset, manufactured using a 28nm process. This chipset includes 8 cores running at 1.6 GHz and PowerVR GE8322 graphics. The device has 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, with the option to expand the RAM using up to 17GB of the internal storage. It also supports microSD cards.

The camera setup on the Ulefone Note 22 appears to be quad-camera, but three of the four lenses are mere placeholders without optics or sensors. The fourth lens has a 2 MP resolution. The front camera is a 0.3 MP unit. The device lacks support for Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5. Despite its basic features, it runs on Android 16 Go. The price of the device has not yet been announced.
