AT&T has launched a new wireless plan called Build-A-Plan. The plan is available online only from 27 May.
This new plan allows users to customise their wireless experience by choosing exactly what they pay for. The plan is a 30-day rolling subscription.
If you are interested in Build-A-Plan, the base plan costs 15 euro per month. This includes unlimited talk and text as well as 1GB of data. On top of this, you can add data as needed. 5GB of data will cost an additional 5 euro, 15GB will cost 10 euro, and unlimited data with SD streaming (2Mbps on 5G, 1.5Mbps elsewhere) will cost 20 euro. For 35 euro, you can get unlimited data with UHD streaming. This option gives you the maximum possible speed at any given time.
If you opt for 1GB, 5GB, or 15GB of data, once you’ve run out of that allotment, your speed will be reduced to 128kbps for the rest of the 30-day term. If you purchase a higher data tier, this will replace, not add to, your existing tier.
You can also choose how much hotspot data you need. By default, you get none, but you can purchase 5GB for 5 euro, 25GB for 15 euro, and 50GB for 20 euro. To use Build-A-Plan, you must bring your own unlocked smartphone that supports eSIM.
