Apple’s upcoming iPhone 19 Pro and iPhone 19 Pro Max models are reportedly being tested with quad-curved screens, according to a new rumour from a prominent Chinese leaker known as Digital Chat Station on Weibo.
Back in April, there were rumblings that Apple’s 2027 Pro series would feature such panels. This is a twist of fate, considering that quad-curved screens were once a staple among Chinese Android smartphone manufacturers. However, the trend shifted when these companies opted to mimic Apple’s flat-screen design. Therefore, expect a resurgence of quad-curved panels in Android flagships by late 2027 and 2028.

Next year, Apple will mark the 20th anniversary of the original iPhone, which was unveiled in January 2007 and went on sale in June the same year. Due to this milestone, the company might change the naming convention. Consequently, the iPhone 19 Pro and iPhone 19 Pro Max could be called something different. However, no official decision has been made public (or leaked to the public) as of yet.
