Galaxy S27 Pro: Leaked Camera Details Revealed

Last Updated: May 21, 2026

Rumours began circulating in April suggesting that Samsung would expand its Galaxy S27 lineup to include a fourth model. This speculation continued yesterday when a new report hinted at the screen size that the Galaxy S27 Pro would feature. Today, fresh rumours are focusing on the device’s cameras.

Earlier reports led us to believe that the S27 Pro would essentially be an S27 Ultra without the S Pen and a smaller form factor. However, the latest rumour contradicts this, stating that the Pro and Ultra models will have different telephoto cameras.

Galaxy S27 Pro: Leaked Camera Details Revealed

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra

The Galaxy S27 Ultra is rumoured to feature only three rear cameras, one less than its predecessors. This means it will have just one telephoto lens. In contrast, the main camera and the ultrawide are expected to use new sensors.

If the source of this rumour is accurate, these new sensors will be shared with the Galaxy S27 Pro. However, the telephoto camera will differ between the two models, though it is unclear how. It is possible that the S27 Pro’s smaller size has influenced this difference, with the Pro potentially featuring a smaller sensor for its telephoto lens. More information is needed to confirm this, so keep checking back for updates.

Source (in Chinese)

The source of this rumour has stated that the Galaxy S27 Ultra is rumoured to have only three cameras on the rear, one less than all of its predecessors. It will thus only have one telephoto shooter. On the other hand, it’s expected to use new sensors for both the main camera and the ultrawide.

These will be shared with the Galaxy S27 Pro, if the source of this rumor is correct, while the telephoto will differ, though it’s not clear in what way. We assume the fact that the S27 Pro is smaller than the S27 Ultra may have played a part in this differentiation, with the Pro perhaps getting a smaller sensor for its telephoto, but we’ll have to wait for more information to come out in order to be sure, so stay tuned.
