Xiaomi has confirmed that the Xiaomi 17 Max will be launched on the same day as the YU7 GT electric SUV. The event will also see the introduction of the Band 10 Pro, the company’s first clip-on wireless earbuds, alongside a range of new smart-home devices.
The unveiling is set for 21 May in China, and ahead of the show Xiaomi has disclosed the handset’s appearance and several key specifications.

The phone will feature a flat 6.9-inch AMOLED screen with thin bezels and will be driven by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor.
Battery capacity is listed at 8 000 mAh and the main rear camera will be a 200 MP unit. Colour choices include White, Clear Blue and Pixel Black.

The Smart Band 10 Pro was also detailed, with upgrades such as more accurate tracking sensors, enhanced sleep monitoring, NFC for tap-to-pay, seamless link-up with Xiaomi Auto, and tighter integration with the Apple ecosystem.
The inaugural ear-clip earbuds adopt an open-ear design and incorporate an 11 mm driver. They will support LHDC 5.0 and carry Hi-Res Gold certification.
