Soldier Boy Spins Off to 1950s in Vought Rising Teaser

Last Updated: May 22, 2026

As fans recover from the thrilling finale of The Boys, Prime Video has released the first teaser for its upcoming 1950s spin-off, Vought Rising.

This first full-length look at the origins of The Boys universe’s notorious mega-corporation, Vought, was revealed today. It takes us back 76 years to show a younger Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles), Stormfront (Aya Cash), Bombsight (Mason Dye), and more. This footage was previously shown to a select few at the premiere of The Boys finale earlier this week, ahead of its theatrical showings.

“One nation, under gods,” reads the official description for Vought Rising. “Go back to where supes began in your first look at Vought Rising, coming 2027 to Prime.”

One nation, under gods. It’s your first look at Vought Rising in HD instead of someone’s camera phone. Coming to Prime 2027.

The teaser for Vought Rising is approximately a minute and a half long. It primarily focuses on a seemingly less jaded Soldier Boy. Stormfront and Bombsight, who also appeared in the main The Boys series, make an appearance. Stormfront, in particular, seems poised to play a significant role.

Vought Rising appears to maintain the same tongue-in-cheek blood and gore that The Boys is known for. Its 1950s New York City setting also seems more vibrant than the modern-day story of the original show. This “first look” keeps plot details minimal, with the teaser trailer mostly consisting of quick shots of a few new superpowered characters viewers will encounter when the show premieres next year.

Soldier Boy expresses his desire to be a hero. We will see how that unfolds for him in 2027. While we await a specific release date from Prime Video, you can read our thoughts on The Boys finale following its premiere a few days ago. Additionally, you can explore why showrunner Eric Kripke insisted that the show’s nods to Vought Rising were not intended to be a secret advertisement for the spin-off.
