As fans recover from the thrilling finale of The Boys, Prime Video has released the first teaser for its upcoming 1950s spin-off, Vought Rising. This first full-length look at the origins of The Boys universe’s notorious mega-corporation, Vought, was revealed today. It takes us back 76 years to show a younger Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles), Stormfront (Aya Cash), Bombsight (Mason Dye), and more. This footage was previously shown to a select few at the premiere of The Boys finale earlier this week, ahead of its theatrical showings. It primarily focuses on a seemingly less jaded Soldier Boy. Stormfront and Bombsight, who also appeared in the main The Boys series, make an appearance. Stormfront, in particular, seems poised to play a significant role. Vought Rising appears to maintain the same tongue-in-cheek blood and gore that The Boys is known for. Its 1950s New York City setting also seems more vibrant than the modern-day story of the original show. This "first look" keeps plot details minimal, with the teaser trailer mostly consisting of quick shots of a few new superpowered characters viewers will encounter when the show premieres next year.
