The postpaid fee was €3.49 per line until December last year, so AT&T customers are seeing increased fees across the board. Both fees have the same description: they are meant to cover costs associated with connecting with other carriers, regulatory requirements, government fees, and more. Back in October, when the postpaid fee increase was announced, an AT&T spokesperson told The Sun, "Like others in the industry, we regularly evaluate and adjust fees to help cover the costs associated with delivering and maintaining our wireless network.
