The latest additions to the RedMagic family, the 11S Pro and 11S Pro+, have been officially unveiled in China. These new models offer a series of upgrades, albeit minor, over their predecessors in the RedMagic 11 series.

The key feature of these new models is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen5 Leading Version chipset. This powerful processor boasts overclocked prime cores, with a clock speed of 4.74GHz. This is comparable to the “for Galaxy” edition of the 8 Elite Gen 5 found in the Galaxy S26 series. The 11S Pro comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, while the Pro+ model offers up to 16GB LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and 1TB UFS 4.1 storage.

In terms of battery life, the 11S Pro has a slightly larger 8,000mAh Si-C battery, supporting 80W wired charging. The 11S Pro+, on the other hand, features a 7,500mAh cell, similar to the 11 Pro+, but with faster 120W wired and 80W wireless charging. Both devices also support bypass charging, a useful feature for gamers.

The RedMagic 11S Pro+ retains the dual cooling architecture of the RedMagic 11 series. This includes a physical cooling fan, which operates at 24,000 RPM, and a pulsating liquid cooling system. These features work together to keep the device cool during intense gaming sessions. The standard 11S Pro, however, only features the cooling fan.

Despite the complex cooling systems, both phones have IPX8 ingress protection, meaning they can withstand being submerged in water up to 3 meters for an extended period. They also feature capacitive shoulder triggers with a 520Hz touch sampling rate and include 3.5mm headphone jacks, a useful feature for audiophiles.

The rear camera setup is similar to previous models, with a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide module, and a 2MP macro lens. The software is covered by RedMagic OS 11.5, which is based on Android 16.

The 11S Pro series phones are available in two colours: Silver Wing and Dark Night.

The RedMagic 11S Pro is offered in a single 12/256GB configuration, priced at approximately 694 euros.

The RedMagic 11S Pro+ starts at around 782 euros for the 12/256GB version and goes up to approximately 1,008 euros for the 16GB RAM and 1TB storage model.
