Honor X80, Also Known as X9e, Gets Fresh Specs and Launch Timeline

Last Updated: May 29, 2026

Honor is preparing to roll out its next wave of budget-friendly smartphones, and the upcoming Honor X80, also referred to as the X9e, is already drawing attention. Digital Chat Station, the well-known industry leaker who first hinted at the Honor X80 back in winter, has returned with fresh details about what buyers can expect.

The insider claims the new device will pack a roughly 5,000 mAh battery, supported by 90W fast charging technology. The body is also said to be “shock-resistant,” a characteristic that has become fairly standard for handsets in this family. The color lineup will span four options: Vibrant Orange, Lightning Red, Mystic Black, and Moonlight White.

Earlier reports have tied the Honor X80 to a new Snapdragon 6-series chipset, along with a flat 6.81-inch LTPS OLED screen at 1.5K resolution. The source indicates a preliminary launch window of June for the smartphone. This follows other recent moves from the brand, including the Honor Pad 20 launched featuring 12.1-inch screen and 10,100mAh battery, which showed the company’s continued focus on large-capacity power cells across its product range.

Looking ahead, the Honor X80 is expected to reach Russia closer to autumn, where it will likely appear as the Honor X9e. The company’s broader portfolio has also seen unusual additions lately, such as the Honor 600 Vitality Edition announced, a strange creation of crisis times, suggesting Honor is experimenting with varied market positioning across different regions.
