Warhammer Skulls, the annual video game showcase, has wrapped up its 10th year, and it was a big one. The event, celebrating a decade of showcasing the best of Warhammer, revealed several major titles. Dawn of War IV finally has a release date, Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters is getting a sequel, the Skaven are getting their own game, Armageddon is coming to Total War: Warhammer 40,000, and there’s even a Warhammer 40,000 crossover with Helldivers 2. The big news for Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV was the reveal of a September 17, 2026 release date. Fans have been eagerly awaiting the RTS game, and now they have a date to mark on their calendars. The team also unveiled a full roadmap for the game’s first nine months post-launch. This includes the return of Crusade Mode, the Mission Editor, new Commanders for Last Stand mode, and two paid DLCs. The first DLC is the Blood Ravens story prologue, which takes players to the ancestral homeworld of Aurelia. The second is the Aftermath Campaign Expansion, adding a fifth playable faction to the four launch factions: Space Marines, Orks, Necrons, and Adeptus Mechanicus. Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Deathwatch, the sequel to the well-received Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters, was announced at the event. Developed by Complex Games and published by Frontier, it is set to release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. In this turn-based adventure, players command a Deathwatch Kill Team and can add agents of the Inquisition and Astra Militarum to their squad. The game features battles against various xenos factions, including the Tyranids, Orks, and Tau. The debut trailer showcases the Redemptor Dreadnought, Scout Sentinel, and Leman Russ tank.

Dotemu announced Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Deathmaster, a new 2D action platformer. Players will take on the role of a Skaven assassin in this single-player game, which is coming to PC, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S in 2027. The debut trailer is available to watch below.

Creative Assembly confirmed that Armageddon, the setting of the 11th Edition of the tabletop wargame, is coming to Total War: Warhammer 40,000. The teaser features Commander Yarrick, setting the scene for Armageddon’s eternally war-torn battlefields. The teaser is available to watch below.

The Warhammer 40,000 crossover with Helldivers 2 is finally happening. This crossover has been a fan favourite since Helldivers 2 launched. The developers at Arrowhead have been asked about it in interviews, and it’s easy to imagine the soldiers of the Imperial Guard taking the fight to the Automatons and the Terminids. Fans can expect the Warhammer 40,000 Warbond for Helldivers 2 later this year.

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is getting a new Skitarii class, lifted from the Adeptus Mechanicus faction. The new class will be available in the game on June 23, 2026, priced at 11.99. The new trailer is available to watch below.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 has released its Purgation Update (Patch 13). This update includes a new PvE mission, a major update to Siege Mode, a new Practice Arena in the Battle-Barge, a new secondary weapon, and the long-awaited Iron Hands Chapter Pack. The Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy beta has started, and Rogue Trader’s third DLC, The Infinite Museion, is launching on June 11. Owlcat Games’ said the Dark Heresy closed beta is available on PC now for those who bought one of the Founder’s Packs. In the beta, players travel to Scintilla’s spires, mingling with the planet’s prestigious elites. Players will also meet potential new companions, encounter powerful members of the nobility – the clergy and military – and uncover what is really going on in the governor’s palace. The beta contains around seven hours of playtime and will stay open until the game’s release. The beta launch trailer is available to watch below. The Infinite Museion DLC is fully integrated into the main Rogue Trader story and offers a new adventure focusing on Necron Overlord Trazyn the Infinite, new upgrades and bionics, and a mysterious new companion known as Eogunn Februs and his servo skull Nuncius. Auroch Digital and Big Fan Games released a demo for Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 on Steam, letting fans get a taste of the retro shooter’s gameplay across two levels as either of the playable characters: Malum Caedo or Nyra Veyrath. The new trailer showcases strafing and the various weapons you can use. Boltgun 2 is set for release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S later this year.

Nitro Games announced Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun Boom, due out on mobile in 2026. This is a new adaptation of Boltgun, developed by Nitro Games.

Auroch Digital also announced the roguelite Warhammer Survivors is coming to mobile via iOS and Android later in 2026, as well as to Steam, GOG, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 1 and 2. A new Steam demo is available to play right now, letting you command Malum Caedo as he defends the wastelands of an Imperial Bastion from swarms of Tyranids, whilst Neave Blacktalon, the legendary Stormcast Eternal warrior, slays Skaven across the ashen plains of The Great Parch. Newly revealed enemy factions are the Death Guard and Blades of Khorne. Warhammer Survivors features both the Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar universes. The new trailer shows the enemy factions in action, as well as the Hobby Table, a recreation of a Warhammer fan’s desk.

Creative Assembly showed off the first character pack for Total War: Warhammer III, Bhashiva & The Tiger Warriors, which is out now on PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store. The character pack arrives alongside Patch 8.0, which brings updates to Grand Cathay alongside free Legendary Hero Taoyan the Merciless. The launch trailer is available to watch below.

Double Eleven announced that Rust Console Edition is getting the Warhammer 40,000 collaboration that hit the PC version last year.

The Ultramarines DLC is out now for strategy game Battlesector, alongside the Crusade Mode 1.0 update. The base game is available to play on Steam for free from May 21-28.
