Vivo has quietly rolled out a new budget handset in Mexico without much fanfare. The vivo T5 4G arrives as an affordable option built around the Snapdragon 6s Gen 2 chipset, with its standout feature being a substantial 7,200mAh battery.
The display measures 6.75 inches and uses an LCD panel. It runs at 120Hz refresh rate with HD+ resolution.

Processing power comes from the Snapdragon 6s Gen 2 SoC. vivo pairs this with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
The 7,200mAh cell supports 44W fast wired charging. vivo says users can expect as much as 45 hours of continuous video playback on a single charge.

On the rear, a squarish metal camera module houses a 50MP main shooter alongside a 2MP depth sensor. The front-facing camera for selfies and video calls clocks in at 32MP.
Software duties are handled by OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 straight out of the box. Security comes via a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone also carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, plus stereo speakers.

Wireless options include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, dual SIM 4G support, NFC, an infrared blaster, and a USB Type-C port.

Shoppers in Mexico can pick up the vivo T5 4G in Black or Gold.
The lone configuration, 8GB of RAM with 256GB of storage, carries a price tag of MXN 5,799. That converts to roughly €310. The battery focus follows a broader industry trend, as seen in the massive 9,020mAh battery that leads the Vivo Y600 Turbo official debut.
