vivo is preparing to enter the wireless over-ear headphone market with its first model, set for a May 29 debut in China alongside the vivo S60 series. The company has released promotional materials on Weibo ahead of the event, giving an early look at the design and specifications.
The headphones will feature active noise cancellation, multi-device pairing, and Spatial Audio support, according to the official teasers. vivo is offering two color options: purple and white.

Audio hardware centers on 40mm dynamic drivers, and the product has secured what vivo calls “Hi-Res Audio Gold certification.” This appears to correspond to the Hi-Res Audio Wireless standard, which indicates support for high-quality wireless audio codecs. vivo also claims the ANC system can reduce noise by up to 58dB, a specification that would place it among the more aggressive noise-canceling options currently available.

Battery life is listed at up to 75 hours of playback, according to vivo’s promotional claims. The company has not specified whether this figure applies with ANC enabled or disabled, a distinction that typically affects real-world performance significantly.

The headphones weigh 238 grams and use soft leather for the ear cushions, based on the specifications shared by vivo. Pre-orders have opened through vivo’s official China online store ahead of the domestic launch event. There is no word yet on international availability or pricing.
vivo’s announcement comes during an active period for headphone releases. Sennheiser launched the Momentum 5 headphones with removable battery earlier this cycle, a design choice that has drawn interest from users focused on extending product lifespans. Sony has also been generating attention through its 1000X “The ColleXion” lineup, with leaks spilling details before the official premiere.
