Oppo has offered more insights into the forthcoming Reno16 series, ahead of its launch in China. The Reno16 and Reno16 Pro are already available for pre-order in the country. The company had previously showcased the designs of these upcoming smartphones.
The company has now revealed the camera specifications of the smartphones. The Reno16 series will include a triple rear camera setup, featuring a primary 200MP sensor. It will also include a 50MP periscope telephoto camera and a 50MP ultrawide unit. At the front, the phones will offer a 50MP ultrawide selfie camera as well.
While Oppo hasn’t detailed the exact sensors used on the handsets, the fine print in the teaser does mention that the camera hardware may differ between the two.
Recent rumours suggest that the Reno16 Pro will come with a 6.78-inch LTPO display and a Dimensity 9500s chipset. It is said to house a 7,000mAh battery and offer a metal frame. The standard Reno16, on the other hand, is tipped to feature a 6.3-inch display and a Dimensity 8000-series SoC.
