Upcoming Samsung Galaxy Unveiling
Samsung is set to unveil its Galaxy Glasses this July, alongside the Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Flip8, according to a report from Korea. The grand Unpacked event where these products will be introduced is scheduled to take place in London on July 22.
New Devices and Features
The Galaxy Watch9 series will also be made official on the same stage. The much-rumored Galaxy Fold Wide is likely to be there, as Samsung may want to pre-empt the arrival of the iPhone Ultra in September with a similar form factor. The Galaxy Glasses, designed in partnership with Gentle Monster, will run on Android XR with Gemini built-in, featuring speakers, mics, and one camera.
Galaxy Glasses Specifications
The Galaxy Glasses won’t have a display, but Gemini will be a major selling point, as it’s much more capable than Meta’s AI. This is similar to Meta’s first-gen Ray-Bans, which also have speakers, mics, and one camera.
