Expected on December 11, the VR game Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond will offer players equipped with a dedicated headset to enjoy a single-player campaign and five multiplayer modes.
The developers at Respawn Entertainment (Titanfall, Apex Legends) have just communicated the configuration necessary to run Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond. The game will only be playable in VR and will offer a single player campaign, but also multiplayer. A sort of virtual library bringing together documents from the Second World War can also be consulted.
However, according to Polygon, gamers should be prepared to make plenty of hard drive space. Indeed, the site indicates that it was able to obtain some of the minimum recommendations, and suggests that 340 GB of free space will be needed. However, this is the space required before decompressing the files, when the game is fully installed it will occupy 170 GB of disk space.
As for the rest of the requirements, the information gathered indicates that in minimum configuration, Respawn recommends having an Intel i7 9700K or higher processor, an Nvidia GTX 2080 or higher card, and 16GB of DDR4 RAM. As a reminder, the Oculus Rift S and the Oculus Quest 2 have been announced as being optimized for the experience, provided that you have the Oculus Link for the second. Obviously, using an NVMe SSD would be recommended.
Last but not least, Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond will be released on December 12, 2020 on Steam and Oculus VR.
