ENDEX: The Free Digital Gaming Expo Launches with Playable Demos, Panels, and More

IGN has partnered with ENDIX, the fully digital gaming expo. The event runs from 23 to 24 May, and is free to attend on Steam and the Epic Games Store. ENDIX features a variety of immersive booths with playable games, exclusive trailers, panels, and a dedicated horror section. Theatrum Obscurum is a special spooky section of ENDIX. It’s an exciting opportunity for gamers around the world to explore the future of the industry without leaving their homes.

Attendees will create their own avatar and enter a player-filled world. This world includes over 50 games from AAA publishers to first-time indie studios. To learn more, watch the exclusive video below.

THQ Nordic is leading the way with titles such as Gothic 1 Remake, Wreckfest 2, Titan Quest 2, Reanimal, and Tides of Tomorrow. Other notable games include Shelf Heroes, Under a Rock, Dreampainters, House Flipper 2 – Sakura DLC, Among the Trolls, Silver Pines, House of Legacy, Mexican Ninja, Everdream Village, Den of Wolves, Haunted Bloodlines, and Necrophosis: Full Consciousness.

The indie scene will also be strong, with titles such as Alpha Nomos, Sea of Rifts, Pizza Bandit, Akatori, Stolen Realm, Survivors, Hela, Inferius, Foxy Dumplings, Stuffed, Chimera Custom XG, Dave the Diver – In the Jungle Content Pack, Do Not Buy This Game, Gamestonk Simulator: Gone Rogue, Glasshouse, Rabit’s Tale, Coin Cauldron, Masters of Mayhem, D-Extinction, and Never Be Alone.

For horror fans, Theatrum Obscurum is a special section of ENDIX. It will let players try out games such as The Last Portrait, Grindworm, Night Hike, The 7th Shift, The Funnel, Thysiastery, Confined: Leaving OKB-134, and Sanctua.

IGN will host all of the biggest trailers from ENDIX on IGN.com and its YouTube channels. You can check out this great selection of titles whenever you’d like.

In addition to games, this year’s ENDIX will present virtual panels. These panels will dive deeper into some of the games. Confirmed panels will be led by THQ Nordic (Golnaz Eftekhari), Frozen District (Christopher Lewis & Mateusz Kasprzak), Untold Tales (Robert Woziński), and Windup Games (Norbert Litwiński).

Elsewhere in ENDIX, there is a dedicated media area for the press. There is also built-in voice chat connecting developers with journalists and creators. There are creator meetups and community games, giveaways, and a collaboration with Alienware. The collaboration includes a playable mini-game that gives a chance to win hardware and merchandise prizes. There are also immersive booths featuring in-game assets and characters that welcome you into their world.
