The game has been performing poorly in terms of performance issues, low frame rate, and texture. The announcement came afterwards CD Projekt Red’s refund claims. The developer announced players who have purchased the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game can request a refund. Unlike Microsoft’s more generous refund policy, Sony’s refund policy is stringent and that took a little more time than players expected.

The suspension of Cyberpunk 2077 came as a temporary measure on the PlayStation store. CD Projekt Red publicly disclosed Sony’s decision to remove Cyberpunk 2077 from the PS store until further notice. The decision came after joining discussions to address investor concerns. SIE (Sony Interactive Entertainment) will offer full refunds for those who have bought the game via the PlayStation Store. All copies bought digitally will remain available on the PlayStation store for use. For gamers, the game can still be bought in physical or digital form. Players can buy the game from a retail store or via mail orders.
