Sony has released a new trailer bringing together an anthology of PS5 games available and to come. In the batch, we find Project Athia of Square Enix, of which we discover the duration of the console exclusivity.
As we can read in the trailer bellow, Project Athia will be “also available on PC”, but it will not be released on consoles other than the PS5 “until at least 24 months after its release”. Xbox Series players will therefore have to be patient to discover the first project of Luminous Productions, about which little is known for the moment, except that it will be based on an open world and the Luminous Engine. It was announced last June during the PS5 Showcase, and it does not yet have a launch window.
The trailer also reminds us that Godfall won’t be released on Xbox Series until at least May 12, 2021, while Deathloop (slated for May 21, 2021) and Ghostwire Tokyo are also one-year PS5 console exclusives.
As for the games developed by PlayStation Studios: Gran Turismo 7, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart and Horizon: Forbidden West are all planned for 2021 as well as the next God of War, which however does not appear in this trailer knowing that no game image has been shown so far.
Lastly, note that no launch window has been announced for this open-world action-RPG developed by Luminous Productions yet.
