Motorola has officially launched the Edge 70 Pro+ in India, bringing a familiar design and core hardware to the local market. This handset essentially mirrors its international sibling, the Edge 70 Pro, with a notable distinction: a 50MP telephoto camera that offers 3.5x optical zoom.

Shoppers can select from three Pantone-certified colorways. The options include Chicory Coffee, a warm brown tone, Zinfandel, a deep red, and Stormy Sea, a cool blue.
The front display spans 6.8 inches diagonally and utilizes AMOLED technology. It delivers FHD+ resolution paired with a 144Hz refresh rate. Motorola has applied Gorilla Glass 7i for protection, and the panel can reach a peak local brightness of 5,200 nits.

Under the hood, the device is driven by a MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme processor. The system includes 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.1 internal storage. This exact configuration was previously spotted in an earlier Geekbench listing that revealed the phone’s performance specs before debut.

The rear camera system centers on a 50MP primary sensor, specifically the Sony LYTIA-710. This main unit pairs an f/1.8 aperture with optical image stabilization. It is flanked by an 81mm-equivalent 50MP telephoto module and a 50MP ultrawide shooter. A 50MP selfie camera is also included within a centered punch-hole cutout.

Battery capacity is rated at 6,500mAh thanks to a silicon-carbon cell. Wired charging supports up to 90W, while wireless charging is capped at 15W. On the software front, the phone runs Motorola’s Hello UI layered over Android 16, bundling the Moto AI 2.0 suite. The company has committed to three major Android version upgrades and five years of security patches. The chassis carries both IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance.
The Edge 70 Pro+ is available in a single 12/256GB configuration priced at INR 47,999 (approximately €432 based on current conversion rates). It is already listed on Motorola’s official Indian storefront and through authorized retail partners. General availability begins June 11. The device arrives as leaked images from earlier this year had already shown a flat display and triple rear cameras for Motorola’s 2026 Edge lineup.
