Infinix has begun teasing its upcoming Hot 70 series, confirming that the new devices will feature integrated RGB lighting and a rear panel capable of changing colour. The manufacturer has also provided an official launch date for the new smartphone lineup.
The global debut for the Infinix Hot 70 series is scheduled for 25 May. It remains unclear exactly how many models will make up the new range, although the previous Hot 60 series featured four different variants.

According to promotional material shared by the company, the Hot 70 series will boast an RGB halo lighting system on the back of the device alongside the colour-shifting panel.
Teasers indicate that the rear of the phone may change colour when it comes into contact with heat. The new series is also expected to arrive in striking colours, such as orange and green.

The general design of the rear casing may follow the pattern of previous models, as promotional images show a vertical, pill-shaped module for the cameras.
A recent listing for the Infinix Hot 70 on the Google Play Console has offered a glimpse into its technical specifications. The entry-level model is expected to run on a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC and come equipped with 4GB of RAM.

Documents found on the FCC website also suggest that the Hot 70 will be released in two versions, which will differ in their battery capacities.
Furthermore, the Hot 70 Pro was identified on the Carlcare Indonesia website, which confirms that the device will support 5G connectivity.
