Pocket Pair, the developer behind the monster-catching survival hit, has set a date for Palworld to leave early access. The studio announced during the Summer Game Fest showcase that the 1.0 version will arrive on July 10, 2026.

Some players might do a double take at that news. Palworld has indeed been available for a couple of years, but only in early access. The full release marks a significant milestone for the game that has already built a substantial player base during its unfinished state.

Specific details about what new content the 1.0 launch will bring remain scarce for now. Pocket Pair has released a statement to tide fans over until more information surfaces. The studio also hinted earlier this year at the possibility of a Palworld 2.0 down the line, though it stopped short of promising a decade-long support plan.

The game made headlines beyond its player count when Nintendo and The Pokemon Company took legal action against Pocket Pair. The dispute centered on patent claims regarding gameplay mechanics that bore similarities to the iconic monster-catching franchise. The controversy did little to slow its momentum, and Palworld has maintained its popularity throughout.
