Following a period of speculation and information leaks, Infinix has officially introduced the Hot 70 lineup. This initial release focuses solely on the base model, meaning the Pro, potential Pro+ version, and other variants are scheduled for future drops. Despite the limited scope, the standard Hot 70 offers a clear preview of the features likely to appear on the more premium models.
Design takes the spotlight, particularly the unique Thermo Orange finish. This coating responds to temperature changes. When the device is cool, the rear panel displays a deeper hue known as Quiet Orange. Heat causes the finish to shift into a lighter tone called Playful Orange. Other available options include Green Texture, Quiet Violet, Dive Blue, Silver Dancer, and Night Pulse.

In terms of physical dimensions, the handset maintains a slim profile and light weight. Weighing in at 195 grams, it maintains a thickness of just 7.49mm.

Under the hood, the phone utilises the Helio G100 Ultimate processor. This is the same chip found in the Infinix Note 50 Pro and 50 Pro+ models released previously. Buyers can choose from four storage and RAM combinations: 6GB with 128GB, 8GB with 128GB, 6GB with 256GB, or 8GB with 256GB.
The screen is an IPS LCD panel with a diagonal size of 6.78 inches. It offers a resolution of 720 by 1576 pixels and supports a 120Hz refresh rate. Paired with a substantial 6,000 mAh battery, endurance should be strong for such a thin chassis. Wired charging supports speeds up to 45W, while 10W reverse charging is available as well.

Photography duties are handled by a 50MP f/1.9 primary camera on the rear. This is accompanied by an additional lens, though the manufacturer has not specified its function. It is assumed to be a standard depth sensor. Up front, there is an 8MP f/2.0 camera.
Software-wise, the device ships with Android 16. Infinix applies its XOS 16 skin over the operating system.
A dedicated hardware button is uncommon for budget handsets, yet the Hot 70 includes one. Users can programme this key to launch specific apps or activate features.
