Announced during Ubisoft Forward last September, the remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is already late. Indeed, the release date has just been postponed by several weeks.

The iconic 2003 game will be back soon with a facelift and some additional gameplay improvements. But when it premiered in September, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time came under heavy criticism for the questionable quality of the graphics seen in the trailer. And Ubisoft was obviously not insensitive to these sometimes very virulent remarks.
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time isn’t ready yet
Thus, the French publisher announced the postponement of the game in order to refine it. Nothing very surprising following the reactions of players and fans of the license in recent weeks. Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time will therefore not be released on January 21, but on March 18, 2021 across the world.
It must be said that at present, the developers have only shared one trailer on this game, however emblematic of the early 2000s. It is not necessarily very reassuring … Anyway , this remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time will arrive on PS4, Xbox One and PC. It will be playable on PS5 and Xbox Series X | S via backward compatibility.
