Honor Win Turbo Debuts With Rugged Build and Massive 10,000 mAh Battery

Last Updated: May 30, 2026

Honor’s Win series already includes two entries, the standard Win and the Win RT, each packing active cooling fans and 10,000 mAh batteries. The Win Turbo, which launched in China on Friday, takes a different approach. It ditches the cooling fan entirely and opts for a more efficient chipset designed to squeeze maximum life out of that same massive battery.

At its core sits the Dimensity 8500, a chip that MediaTek positions as a power-efficient alternative to flagship silicon. According to Honor’s official specifications, this is not a phone built for benchmark bragging rights. It is built to keep running.

The display shifts slightly too, down to a 6.79-inch OLED panel that still refreshes at 120Hz. Buyers can choose from three memory tiers: 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, and 16GB/512GB. Camera specs are modest by current standards, with a 50MP main sensor paired to a 5MP ultrawide on the rear and a 16MP front-facing shooter for selfies.

That 10,000 mAh cell returns, though with some trade-offs. Wireless charging did not make the cut this time, and wired charging tops out at 80W rather than the 100W offered on the other two Win models. Honor estimates a full charge from empty takes roughly 90 minutes using the bundled 80W SuperCharge adapter, according to the company’s product page.

The phone also carries a rare triple IP rating: IP68, IP69, and IP69K. Per IEC 60529 and ISO 20653 standards, that certification means it should survive not just dust and submersion, but also high-temperature, high-pressure water jets. For a mainstream device without a bulky rugged design, that level of protection stands out.

Honor is offering the Win Turbo in Black, White, and Blue. The base 12GB/256GB model starts at CNY 2,699 (€340). The mid-tier 12GB/512GB variant runs CNY 2,999 (€380), while the top 16GB/512GB configuration costs CNY 3,599 (€560). The company has not announced international pricing or availability beyond China as of publication.

The device measures 163.5 x 76.8 x 9.2 mm and weighs 219 grams, figures that Honor emphasizes keep the phone manageable despite its substantial battery and reinforced chassis. It ships with MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15.
